We are supplying and constructing the new reception building for Tolcarne Beach, Newquay.
Not a bad location to have to work. All of the materials have to be delivered by tractor and trailer when the tide is out.
The old building was removed by others and the base was ready for us on arrival.
This building is a post and beam construction. The glulam beams were cut to size and jointed off site. They are very strong and can be made in all shapes and sizes.
Inbetween the posts we fit timber panels. The timber panels are covered with structural ply wood. There will be lots of windows all the way around for the staff to enjoy the views.
